What Is the Mission of PWCA ?

PWCA mission is to reach out to the community.to give positive change and inspire others to greatness.

PWCA is taking one step at a time reaching out to the community. 

PWCA is a non profit Social Welfare Organization.

PWCA has been in existence for 20 years reaching out to men, women, boys and girls.  PWCA team members are certified, licensed, and degreed in various areas to help those in need throughout the community. Through our innovative work we support people to make positive, lasting changes in their lives.

Our accommodation services helping people experiencing homelessness, by providing food, clothing, and other resources. We actively support individuals and their families through raising self-esteem, increasing confidence, and building experiences and skills. The women of PWCA work with others – partner organizations and volunteers – as we deliver our unique services around the city of Shreveport/ Bossier City. All with a view of changing lives together. 

Our women’s services provide tailored support to help men, women boys, and girls achieve more –  ​As a nonprofit organization, 504(c)(3), we rely on the generosity of organizations, local businesses and individuals who donate their time and resources to increase awareness in the community about issues impacting women and families.

Giving back is our way of making a difference by sharing what God has blessed us with. To offer a new mindset to the community, that will propose friendship and create confidence.

What Is the Target for PWCA? 

We will use our personal defeats and victorious  unselfishly to help enrich the lives of all who cross our path by caring and affirming their unique worth, by giving what we have to give to others.  PWCA choose to make a difference in the lives of others.

Our Purpose:

Is to give back to the community. Each year PWCA works towards feeding the homeless and those less fortunate.

This fight is made possible by the generous support of people like you over the years PWCA has provided over 20,000 meals to men, women, boys, and girls. Throughout the  year we take meals to the street to feed the homeless and those in need. PWCA has touched hundreds of families throughout the years in the Shreveport Bossier City areas.
